PLANS OF MINSK NATIONAL AIRPORT:

In the nearest future it is planned to relocate Minsk Aircraft Repair Plant to the territory of RUE ‘Minsk National Airport’ and to build International Logistic Center. In connection with this, the efforts to attract credit sources from the People’s Republic of China for the construction of the second artificial runway, the reconstruction of the existing airport terminal and the construction of a new one are being held.
In 2010 the airport is planning to
-continue the special techniques and technological equipment renewal for aircraft and passengers handling
-purchase the aerodrome heaters for aircraft, tractors without towbar, a pallet and container-loader;
-replace passenger escalators and etc., to install lifts for physically weak people in the airport terminal.
In 2010 the airport is going to invest about 5,5 million dollars to the main funds of the enterprise.
