In the beginning of 2007 the decision to introduce the food safety management system was accepted that will give possibility to guarantee quality and safety of services concerning with catering manufacture and providing airlines with it.
The certification of food safety management system has been audited at Minsk National Airport in December 2007 (the certificate № DNKFRC222968 from 22.01.2008). The certificate is given by the international center of certification management systems - Bureau Veritas Certification that has wide experience of work in this area and is a leader in the market of certified services since 1828.
Minsk National Airport is an unique enterprise in the Republic of Belarus that received the certificate in accordance with the requirements of international standard ISO 22000:2005 in sphere of rendering services on catering provision.
The food safety management system is directed on safety of food stuffs and integrated with the enterprise management systems supplementing this systems with detailed analysis of occurrence of possible health hazard of consumers and ways of preventing such danger.
The food safety management system is applied to catering that is provided to passengers and crew of aircrafts and includes the following group of products: sandwiches, cold collations, salads, garnishes, breakfasts, hot dishes, confectionery, bakery.
Introduction of food safety management system gives a lot of advantages to the enterprise:

- Opportunity of exit on new markets including international markets, expansion of existing markets;

- Competitiveness of production of the enterprise increases;
